Sabrina Sosa is a bilingual (English & Spanish) Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with at-risk children of diverse cultures and their families. Sabrina believes that no matter how young or old you are, unresolved conflict that remains in the heart builds up over time and deeply affects your thought process and behavior towards others. She has concluded that the healing process requires examining your heart, transparency, openness, and honesty. Sabrina is a native of South Florida where she obtained her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology at Trinity International University, her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication with a major in Public Relations at Florida International Univeristy, and an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Miami Dade College. Her theoretical approach is integrated based on the client's needs. Primary techniques and interventions she utilizes from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Positive Psychotherapy. Her areas of specialty are Conflict Resolution/Mediation, Behavioral Concerns, Trauma (abuse), Anxiety, Depression, Grief/Loss, Parenting, and Spirituality (Christian). Sabrina seeks to provide encouragement and hope. She has a strong passion to guide others through difficult circumstances by helping them view their painful experiences as opportunities and stepping stones for substantial personal growth.
